Director of Science and Development at the Institute of Sensory Organs, Deputy Head of the Department of Teleaudiology and Screening at the Institute of Physiology and Pathology of Hearing, and Teaching Assistant at the Medical University of Warsaw.

A distinguished specialist in otorhinolaryngology, pediatric otorhinolaryngology, audiology, phoniatrics, and public health. Actively involved in both national and international scientific organizations. He is a founding member of the World Hearing Forum under the World Health Organization (WHO) and serves as a WHO expert on digital health.

Prof. Skarżyński holds the position of President of the International Advisory Board of the American Academy of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery (AAO-HNS). He is a board member and representative of the International Society for Telemedicine and eHealth (ISfTeH), Vice-Chair of the Hearring Group, member of the Steering Committee on Facial Nerve Stimulation, and serves on several AAO-HNS committees, including the Hearing Committee (2018–2019, 2024–2025), the Implantable Hearing Devices Committee, and the Otology & Neurotology Education Committee (2021–2022).

He has received over 100 individual and team awards for his contributions to scientific research, clinical innovation, economic development, implementation activities, and academic teaching.
